Press Release
Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network
The Atlantic Artisans at Work Network (Atlantic ÉCONOMUSÉE® Network) has an opportunity to offer funding to 4 new craft businesses in the Atlantic region over the next 9 months.
We are seeking applicants in the following crafts and trades:
- Wheel-thrown pottery
- Wood
- Glass
- Fabrics
While these are priority areas, many businesses involved in a traditional crafts or trades may qualify. The Artisans at Work Network is part of the International ECONOMUSEUM® Network Society,
established in the Province of Quebec, representing exceptional examples of traditional craftsmanship. We work with craft businesses to develop a museum and interpretive exhibit that is part of
an artisan's workshop and retail store, owned and operated exclusively by the craft business. If you are a producer of fine craft using traditional methods you may qualify.
We are a membership-based, non-profit organization and we provide funding to cover the costs of design and development for each new member in order to develop the ÉCONOMUSÉE concept.
For information contact Ghislaine Curwin, at (506) 854-2933 or info@economusee-atl.com.
