The Key is in the Buying!
One of the most significant aspects of retail success is the ability to stock your store with the right product that will attract your consumer. In the trade show environment where choices are plentiful, Eric will demonstrate effective buying strategies. The ability to know your consumer is key to the success of the buying experience and Eric will outline ways to identify these success factors. Eric will also offer successful techniques for marrying product lines together which will be demonstrated by using products from the ACTS show. This interactive experience will result in an effective display being created during the session, where you will see it all unfold before your eyes.
Guest Speaker - Eric White
Eric White, Owner of Beyond Design is a well known retailer, decorator and presenter from St. John's, Newfoundland. For the past ten years, Eric has been widely recognized for his brilliant Christmas designs throughout the Holiday season and for making summer Weddings come to life with his magical touch. The precision he demonstrates throughout his work translates beautifully in his own retail setting along with the shops of many others in which the responsibility for merchandising and window display lands successfully on his shoulders. Eric recently completed a well received, cross-province tour of craft shops, demonstrating effective techniques for display and store set-up. His message is consistent in its belief that every retail setting is an opportunity to create a breathtaking experience for the consumer and that is the message he is anxious to deliver at the Atlantic Craft Trade Show.
The Atlantic Craft Trade Show recognizes the support of the Province of Newfoundland & Labrador through the Department of Innovation, Trade & Rural Development.
We are pleased to work in partnership with the department to develop and promote the craft sector in Atlantic Canada.
